BS of Computer engineer. Some embedded software (firmware, BSP etc) experiences.8 years change 6 companies. last 2 years as contractor.

-Many technical questions. I gave answers ok.1 J9 j7 }& k- |. I! N0 ~9 |
-Other questions: j0 C% P+ d2 [6 s) F- Z/ U. K& T
Manager asked me 5 times why I changed job so frequently. I said the companies did not work out as expected. So I need keep update (make a change)for my future carreer (development).$ G+ E, a, h$ w! a& h

Finally, manager asked me if I had any questions. As I did not prepare very well. I just asked what project was going on and the current progress.

Interview 2: by manager, team lead and HR $ ?+ I/ }1 o3 q' p

The manager and team lead gave me technical phone interviews. After the interview, the manager told me HR would contact me.2 b) @0 l/ j. o: n5 g3 f6 B
8 N: e8 Y1 X/ X& y; h, M3 M0 TOne week later HR manager phone interviewed (interviewed me on the phone).HR asked me what is my current salary (what my current salary was). I said: I am more interesting(interested) in the project.1 F6 f! N! h7 r2 U8 Q

HR insisted to ask (on asking) me how much money I (would) prefer.I said, the company should have the salary range. I am ok with it as I am more interesting (interested) in (the) company.

! k+ z7 I5 J$ k. X) d- g% @9 j+ RHR asked how much I made now (currently).I said I am current(ly) on a contract which was not perm salary. HR asked me (for) the hour rate. I gave him the answer(my current hour rate - $20)." A( u5 r$ ~; R0 z& _9 I: j

HR asked why I immigrated to Canada not USA. I thought it was a trick question. So I gave him my answer: I did not know how to immegrate to USA. As USA has many good company like your company. If I knew (had known)how to immegrate to USA, I would do it (have done so) instead of canada.% L# }% O2 F) h1 R- n8 A) f/ l

One hour later, I got a reject email! Q, J2 d6 R0 F* S

1 s2 L/ s% j( E1 `# X' PPS: There were many language errors in the original posting. I corrected directly for the most part but the conversational part was corrected in ().By the way, I don't think he failed the interviews because of his language problem.. n3 l6 C6 V4 k; W; ]
