Biotech Technologist Position Available

; C5 D6 ^7 R) I8 fPosition Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

Skills and Abilities Required
9 `1 Q9 O' p9 E/ Z) C/ e: f4 _1 wExtensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.
/ ~' r% f( j( a; v- G$ O& h
Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.

# v) O) @" J5 o1 c) M( ]$ yHave good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.

Ability to precisely follow written and verbal directions.

- \0 N3 q% Y  ^+ lPrevious industrial working experience is a great asset.
