Biotech Technologist Position Available

Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering. 4 d7 s! X* w! W$ R- X8 ^' z

Skills and Abilities Required : P# ^# G* L! _
Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.
# M$ U. Q! J. D; j( f
$ U0 ]* E+ q# U' b$ r- v5 RPractical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting. . }0 ~* I/ E% t+ B# z

Have good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.

Previous industrial working experience is a great asset.
