recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
$ \" y! ~+ l4 |8 `. {" P% y* T4 x$ G, Ptechnology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
  ?; t0 a1 o2 f' q5 estrong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
' p) M7 T/ j: o* w; h1 frequired. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
! m2 b% _& r2 x1 q" I1 k3 D% q: Xcloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with

& n" e. z/ ]3 I8 H7 h# a2 Daccurate and complete research records.

funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
! q  Y( R, }+ L* B. osalary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
