ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
! L) Y3 y% N  v3 w) [( tstrong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness

' j: e3 t- B7 sQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
/ [  ?4 s/ n& E9 r7 D+ C9 fobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
* Q/ v' \/ @! B  ?' urelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
5 u: N4 K/ x  @/ Hfrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
% i: Q  S) k1 R6 F6 M2 m4 Kcloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
  q5 G8 A; P& S& L) y8 X+ e+ x0 Nis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
7 j5 ]' o& t, \/ S/ M: cthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
; O2 r1 E1 f3 l. Caccurate and complete research records.

salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
