: Y, C) |7 N/ e9 Y2 d8 e# f: Rtechnology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
. H+ }3 o( ]% p; a5 ?* istrong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
: W3 M$ V$ T0 a' l: Uto apply for government funding with us.

$ d6 P; x3 j) f. q/ cQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
* L/ f' G1 K1 Wrequired. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
: }9 X0 \4 [4 C& `- n4 U( Pcloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
6 V  P. }3 v$ D$ vis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
, S/ y% c3 l( Taccurate and complete research records.

This position is conditional to a successful application of external
funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
