technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with

* v  Q  [2 `  ]3 G' u) P/ P- BQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
: ~8 F+ _; q* j$ i" d" p2 Uobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
9 P' e5 Q  Q# i1 }related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
/ N5 F" s; G. S0 [2 Qis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
5 ]$ B3 [2 T' p; t/ athe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
) b/ ~* C- Z. u% ^: ^: i4 t. {accurate and complete research records.

This position is conditional to a successful application of external
funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
% {$ p& X5 R% b8 ~- Dsalary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
