烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:

# G- m# n- R9 K0 Z# q• 1 cup sugar
# f: \& Q; c$ k1 c. b• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
# I1 H& H( j3 d @• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)& e2 j, U# q2 L: R/ ^& K
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
v% E* ?3 `/ K R P& U) k• 4 eggs, well beaten
* L9 L2 J) T' Z( p" ~' m0 k6 R' M. e- @4 J' Z
PREPARATION:
) n/ _" M" M2 C; y$ l4 o9 mBeat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. 2 n# K% ? V/ p. B8 F& @8 r0 `) q
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. 9 f0 {* d3 @* i# P
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

beating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。( X# O) I1 @4 n2 q! M. V
