烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter

• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)" X: S9 u2 ?( i1 o& h
• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better): j, \. V7 M6 d$ P( l
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 2 X+ b" N: |% a
• 4 eggs, well beaten0 c+ ?/ {- g* r: u: C

' b- O% n! ]7 m8 _Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. * U4 A( y5 r: o
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
; B; J$ g. O7 B8 `0 EBake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

3 t- }+ w2 P h& m- f. \这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
