烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter
' E* W: }3 R9 p$ H2 d• 1 cup sugar
. [ ]+ [ r8 c; d( |2 t' V• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
& H/ w6 l2 ?3 c0 f9 {6 w- q• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
' E y5 a5 B' r3 }) Q• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

PREPARATION:
" a7 b! I s6 _: a. b$ pBeat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. 2 ?$ i b* i7 n( C
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. ! m( j; {" W8 W* n
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.7 k1 D2 {" U$ T2 N, ?5 o" \
7 @) {* ^9 ~" \这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
