烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter 8 G: _3 I" F/ |1 ?7 t
• 1 cup sugar
; c2 }0 ^3 n3 m* ?& u• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
2 s( X" W [- D" l• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
4 N- `2 r* @ h! B( f• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder - x, z; R$ D# p1 G& X% m4 s
• 4 eggs, well beaten6 E* s# s3 t! C2 U7 c& O

PREPARATION:
" ~4 ^$ q9 v5 W5 D$ mBeat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
' X5 @5 I# j5 o/ J, ]- ETurn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
4 j0 b+ |) J* \* ?0 b: X: VBake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.* I% ?9 s# m0 C
. U7 _) v% L2 }8 q, _# {" \8 L这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。

检查是否烤熟的办法: 用牙签插一下cake中间,若没有什么粘在牙签上就熟了。 |
