1 F/ Z3 o8 I" L- }6 @" VAs the Corporate Financial Co-ordinator within the Corporate Accounting and Reporting office of the Finance Branch, you will lead the year-end reporting functions within the City as well as the operating fund corporate accounting, and guide the development of related policy, procedures, and strategies. This includes:

· Coordinating the completion of the annual consolidated financial statements, the Provincial municipal information return, and other financial reporting for audit.' `( o |: h/ r/ H6 L

· Providing advice within the organization and to related Boards and Authorities on options for resolution of financial and reporting issues.

· Managing a group of professional and administrative staff, in completing ongoing corporate accounting functions.+ t, R0 z* W/ n* b
( e# {4 ~& M2 J. }% v1 x· Performing the regular and customary managerial functions including decisions respecting staff hire/promotion, work assignment, performance appraisal, discipline, and leave/overtime authorization.

}, L% o# Y7 w3 {% ?· University Degree majoring in accounting or finance, and a Professional Accounting Designation.

· A minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in the financial accounting and reporting field.+ ?- l; |2 j& K* F1 K

· Experience with complex computerized financial systems. Familiarity with SAP would be advantageous." b N; _6 Z5 v* ^$ W& a
