的装饰，却可以尽情秀出自己的风采、个性、特点。我们靠的是一份热情，凭

The Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University
: \8 _/ d5 j- H X N# h5 g" `9 A of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the
0 q2 U" `3 T- H/ Z/ L8 l p, C eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
! x: ` D: N7 U cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and1 P& D2 I! [9 @. W. ?! q. S+ B i
customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
7 F! h) q" z& ?& m4 o; c3 k& A0 O this broad land.
$ @9 g7 q1 y/ i# e- v 9 u- q6 n7 I% g" r: N9 d: f2 n! k
We encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to
, ~: w/ b9 z6 t3 n+ e contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and7 I) m% N) p5 L; C3 V
talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in; }# S3 ], ~5 [* x
performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show7 ~# w! S# V. E) ^+ d( S8 O- Q
ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in N& z! h; p9 c( t O; i
Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a
# ~/ b: @. m8 y* Q lot of fun, like what we did before.

As far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs( Q$ z; R5 s/ p( f
sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),: _, E4 ]- M2 I% j9 L; p; J% g/ |2 W
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any: d+ j/ y/ q7 }6 Y3 o1 e
performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your/ e" [7 G. M; Y/ I* a c
program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up+ R5 @8 } L. F3 j$ |
comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since
+ k! x$ k4 u" F$ c, Y CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.
! l I2 B$ ]( D" D ( ?3 v4 }, p1 ?$ B* I8 k- G
Meanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also
% f) b3 p4 S) d+ F7 o on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system, X2 f3 D9 T( a: y" k& P" J
control. # }% O3 D, I; O
