Senior Agency/Program Manager

Staff

• provide leadership to staff and volunteers8 h+ [6 M4 d6 ?; @5 C H
• provide day to day leadership to support staff in programming functions

• provide opportunities for staff development and growth

• build and maintain collegial and strong working relationships with staff9 t1 v+ p4 H: c1 y

• overall management of all agency projects/programs and services

• identify community and user needs and trends

• delivery of program or activity to participants as required

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities
: J1 B6 N6 g3 k3 i4 p- U0 V• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders

& r% }8 R. e. x* w• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
a3 z3 Y0 H" _* U3 m# z• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups. U$ \& j. w* g5 r+ E: _
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.8 t" {! ?+ h0 N2 u2 \4 F% f/ M
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff

& p5 h" ?% c) a# N# U+ Y- University degree in a related field; & J; `7 {; L& V6 j( N
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;7 C: @! u' @% ]4 I+ l) v5 j8 e
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; 8 B" d* q: a4 p- B7 q! Q
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization : R$ J6 B9 c2 \* i5 M3 y

- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
