• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities

• identify community and user needs and trends

• conduct program evaluation/survey/research

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities

• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups

• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.. n* ^( i4 X% L! V+ a
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff

8 A/ D9 W6 G. p( V9 h. n0 b, X- University degree in a related field; 8 T J" v7 ^3 j" G* ?3 Y
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
3 e! @1 [$ ? H/ e j1 e- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
7 |7 J8 j5 y( D2 ?6 H- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization
