• responsible for recruitment, selection, training and performance appraisal and termination of staff

Programs/Services

• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities
8 K% Y0 t2 J3 c7 J# S+ N• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders
& Z8 g& V. X- m$ i1 Y, _ }) l• set program priorities and directions

• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends! J. {5 R; D$ z' e6 n9 A& e

• maintenance of appropriate reporting

• communicate the value of the organization to the public

C" H; g+ Q8 e0 ~* Y3 B• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
% v( m p1 ^* ^% A• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups: x7 z# @9 E( j8 Z
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.
/ ^2 ]: h+ g* d1 X5 r F, h: T" P% L• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff

- University degree in a related field;
6 N9 E4 D; s! h i' U. d- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;0 Q. B0 W* O# b6 N- e& B. z$ m
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
$ g; g5 M# K6 K- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization 7 m3 h( v5 Z) ^& t% v5 z
