JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.
! h7 _/ l! n) }7 D% T! \  i* H) ~
& m  _7 Y8 |7 E0 B2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

' l; P' y1 r# P7 q$ Y, O, P- r* M# ~3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

3 j8 k" L; k0 b) P3 G' Z4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

- E+ @0 v: ]8 b2 L# n2 v, |: k6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:
$ q, _6 W  V$ I: B
" ~  l- C8 b! s! b1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

6 }! x! [( o  i  J" X2) Cashier experience.
/ I( w1 `5 `& R8 q. p1 B
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
