An Alberta woman has been charged with stealing thousands of dollars from a small town in Saskatchewan.

According to the RCMP, the 26-year-old woman from Strathmore, Alta., faces 12 charges including fraud, theft and false pretences.% n% v4 f6 `4 a9 l% A" v2 P

The RCMP began investigating following a complaint that money was missing from the town of Kyle.

, }7 U& V2 k. NIt was learned that about $18,000 was missing, the RCMP said.

The woman is scheduled to be in provincial court in Swift Current, Sask., on July 25.
