JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
) n% i2 r- i/ k; M" SSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
$ i' r2 }1 T8 G) ?6 G; tSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
% w% U5 `3 [ ~0 |4 o1 Aof Course Pack production.

8 l! c" E, y% S" nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
& c6 |4 {9 o# E) w1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
" r2 T# |; v+ b/ P9 V3 d7 fof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
9 M6 w3 f! W% a7 U( Z' ]* y
9 W4 Y0 p% b5 c$ R! N2 g2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 5 E# `. ] A" I+ S+ X3 J
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.9 p3 T4 }+ N7 |7 v2 O% G
# p8 `5 E1 Z8 g/ x3 C: N3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
1 s3 s y; }& a# @# H4 }% ccourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and ' C/ Z# N4 L4 V2 e; W, t
keeping appropriate and accurate records.2 U0 a& t3 J3 G3 U4 \
' Z9 h2 N& J, {) {2 c |0 Y8 o4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment

J' L/ f% Q$ J. @& r R5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,
! ^# n) O1 R$ O m+ D5 E' M4 U8 Eand adhere to regulations as appropriate.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
+ Y2 r3 {5 v6 v# Q- j/ z/ r2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication
: M( Y! |% N" E2 `+ T7 b$ {& Tskills.6 [ f; `7 b1 ?; @8 D3 _* ]& o
- Q& [. O5 A+ A6 z' P5 e* ~3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.) k8 b y& ]$ O3 m4 {/ z& x- {
$ B" e' L( {" i: }4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

5) Ability to work in high stress environment.
