Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects . a( u. W% b( [! T; o! M5 y0 M
of Course Pack production.: U, _6 {7 {( T0 R# ?

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:) W2 u2 U" P2 A
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning ( K6 A0 P4 k3 k& }* P: _1 U' F% n
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
' t/ l1 f/ W, L% S& @8 z5 M" L
. Z, |9 c! }0 H" _- i' q0 O5 C, q2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 7 \/ V6 G* ]* C( U2 ]# O e* T1 l6 y
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.

3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of 7 [% a' k" k0 H
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and ; L; _* H' r% F& Z6 m9 D ~- e
keeping appropriate and accurate records.

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment * C1 d5 g+ c, q' B+ T3 p. ?& |! A
failures to the Operations Manager.0 M. R% S7 d: T+ [. V! z$ W* _- g
7 J: A, a8 `/ w: M; h- @- I3 ^2 k( O( z
5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, / c3 z, ?+ j/ b6 _* T- Q& o
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.6 ^! Y% v$ }7 f* L0 e) h3 L

6) To contribute positively to a cooperative working environment.8 r5 Z D* f0 P c6 y T7 y

QUALIFICATIONS:7 S$ E* F+ h+ e5 \6 A
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
0 S0 p/ w" ~* \+ o+ [* ~3 d2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication
! L+ @; }* U) E5 Iskills.

3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.4 F1 C# t2 [, X- E3 i, c+ Y, |" D

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
